Since 2012, Jamie has played over 1200 gigs, bringing passion, versatility, and high-energy performance to every stage. A skilled guitarist and vocalist, he covers a wide range of genres, memorises all music (no ipads here!), and can deliver sets from the relaxed ’n’ chilled to non-stop party bangers. His energy and enthusiasm shine with a mightily dynamic stage presence, commonly featuring solos around the room via his wireless guitar system. He loves a fun song request ('Jukebox Jamie’ was a phrase once coined by a festival goer) as well as a good bash of interactive banter with the crowd. Getting married or having a party? Look no further for your entertainment. Jamie gives a real and honest performance, decorated with guitar and vocal virtuosity that keeps audiences in awe from the first chord to the final encore.

You’ve contacted a few acts. You’re comparing vocals, styles, pricing, energy, professionalism; you’re down to your final selections. Here’s why you should choose moi ;-)
Many performers can sing and strum some chords, can hype up a crowd, can interact with audience members; I excel in all of these areas and beyond. My act is not just about belting out ‘Mr Brightside’, my show comes with guitar skills that dazzle, an infectious stage presence that draws eyes, and a huge smile and fun energy that ignites your party into legendary status.
My memorisation of music and lyrics is second to none. All 142 of the songs in my repertoire list are learnt to a tee, therefore no open mic night style ipads/phones, and no sheets and music stands disrupting the stage aesthetic*. This allows my eyes and full attention to always be on the audience, engaging on a level many musicians can’t. No cheesy backing tracks with karaoke count-in metronomes, everything is produced live with my voice and hands (and feet!).
I am extremely organised. Calendars and structure is literally a part of my personality and my friends and students will vouch for this! So I can guarantee flawless communicational skills and no errors in admin or finer details to remember. When an email enters my inbox about a booking, my dopamine sky-rockets and I can’t wait to chat with clients about their vision. On-site, I am nothing but professional, arriving early, introducing myself to venue staff and setting up quietly. Equipment-wise, I bring two of everything, so in the unlikely event of a vital piece of gear breaking, I have a spare.
One last reason to book myself is DISCOUNTS: 10% off for 2026 dates, and also 10% off if booking my fingerstyle package as well. I wholeheartedly love what I do and have honed and crafted my livelihood for 14 years, 10 of which on the weekly wedding scene. Your wedding is not just another gig for me. I realise that it is the biggest day of your life and I will do everything in my power to make it as smooth-sailing, entertaining and memorable as possible.
*Except for requested songs that I’ve learnt specifically for a client

Here's everything you need to know about booking me, but if there's something you'd like to ask, don't hesitate to contact me :)
I live in Bicester, Oxfordshire, and mainly perform locally and in the surrounding counties: Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Northamptonshire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire. But I will travel anywhere in England, Wales and Scotland, though further distances will be accounted for in the fee.
Approximately 1 hour.
Yes I’m very happy to learn a special song like a first dance, though this does include a fee. I can also professionally record it for your wedding video, also for a fee.
Yes do let me know your favourites, although please also allow me some freedom with the setlist where I can use my experience to judge which songs will and won't work on the night. If there are any songs to avoid, please let me know.
Of course! But please let me know the song in advance.
For the evening show, it’s 2 hours of music, so either 2 x 1 hour sets or 3 x 40 minute sets. From experience, the 2 x 1 hour structure helps the evening flow a bit better rather than multiple breaks. I can also play for longer than 2 hours but this incurs a further charge. If booking the afternoon or early evening relaxed sets, the price gets you up to 2 hours of music. If booking both packages, please note that I could only sing for 3 hours in one day, eg. 1 hour as a relaxed set and 2 hours for the evening show, and this also depends on other gigs that I may have on the surrounding days of your date, as I’d have to consider voice recovery time.
Yes. I can play a downloaded Spotify playlist before, in between and after sets. I have a variety of playlists ready to go spanning many decades and specific genres. This is free of charge for the first 20 minutes after my final set if you’d like to keep the party rocking! After 20 minutes, I charge for the extra time but there is no extra fee for a manned DJ service or a post-midnight finish. Please also let me know any song requests in advance.
Yes, providing there is virtually no chance of rain. If you intend for me to play outside, we will discuss a plan for the possibility of unfortunate weather, including the consideration of gazebos, flat ground (if uneven, puddles can form) and power supply.
RCF Speakers, Pro FX10 mixer, Yamaha APX 1000 acoustic guitar, Beyer dynamic mic, RC30 loop pedal, Electro-harmonix Pog octaver, FS-5U FX canceller, Shure GLXD1+ wireless guitar system.
All of my equipment is PAT tested and I can provide you/the venue with the certificate. And yes I have PLI up to £10m with my Musician’s Union membership.
I have fit into the tiniest of corners before so don’t worry about that! But the bigger the better as I love a good stage where I can bust some shapes behind the mic.
Yes, I’m just acoustic guitar and vocal so adapting to the venue’s volume necessities is no problem.
Yes, no problem.
Yes, I have a cluster LED crystal ball that lights up the whole room with spinning shapes and vibrant colours, plus two moving head DJ lights and another two lights to create a spotlight.
Yes, 50% is to be paid in the initial booking to secure the date, and then the remaining balance is due at least a month prior to the event.
Yes, please see the ‘Gig Guide’ page of this website where you’ll find all of my public gigs listed. Feel free to let me know that you’re coming and we can chat in person about your event.
Yes. We can arrange phone calls or zoom calls to discuss the finer details of your day. And that is whether you’ve already booked, or if you’re still the decision stage of who to book. No extra charges apply.
I haven’t cancelled a gig since 2021, but in the unfortunate event of myself being too ill to sing, I have a large array of brilliant acts and booking agents to call and find you a suitable replacement.
